TGF Miss Anya Dressy – Color Wednesday #43 (Distress Markers & Ink)

TGF Miss Anya Dressy – Color Wednesday #43 (Distress Markers & Ink)

Hi Everyone! Welcome to another Color Wednesday
video. Today I’m using this stamp from The Greeting Farm. It’s from the Miss Anya Dressy
stamp set. There’s three images. I’ve just stamped her in some StazOn Jet Black ink on
to some Strathmore water color paper. I did want to mention that this particular stamp
set I think is discontinued. You can still get it on some online stores though. All of
the supplies are listed down below in the video description or in the supply section
over at my blog. So I’m going to speed this up so you can watch me color. After the coloring with all the Distress Markers
was complete I needed to do a little bit of fixing, because some of the water color had
kind of seeped into this little scallop edge detail on her apron. So I brought in my Uniball
Signo Broad White Gel Pen and just added those scallops back in. I also put a little white
line right at the bottom of her dress. That little spot was already there but was a blue
color and I decided to just make it white. Now I’m bringing in some Wink of Stella Clear
Glitter. It’s a brush pen and in the past I color this on just like a regular marker,
but I’ve discovered that if you dab it on you get a little more shimmer. Or actually
a lot more shimmer. I actually doubled up. I did two coats of this shimmer and it looked
awesome. I’m going to show you a close up here in minute so you can see all of the shimmer.
It really brought the image to life. It added quite a bit of detail. I really love how it
turned out. I think dabbing that Wink of Stella brush pen is a little more effective then
kind of rubbing it across. So the card base I’m using today. The card stock is Soft Navy
from Simon Says Stamp. I’m using the Handwritten Note stamp set from Avery Elle to add a greeting
here on it. I thought this girl kind of looks a little bit melancholy so I thought I Miss
You would be a pretty good greeting for this card. So I just stamped it in the Soft Navy
ink that matches the card stock. Then I wanted to bring in some little hearts. I have a bunch
of hearts that I’ve previously die cut using the Simon Says Stamp Mini Heart die set. So
I just colored each of the hearts with the R49, is that what it is, or R46 Copic Marker.
Then I adhered them to the water color piece and then coated each of the hearts with some
Glossy Accents. That just adds quite a bit of shine to each of the hearts and makes them
stand out. I also really love that everything else is kind of really flat, except for the
shimmer on her dress so adding the shine on these hearts was a really good detail to add.
I adhered it down to the card base using some foam tape and really carefully, because those
hearts aren’t dry yet. Press that down. Then I added a line of dashes at the very bottom
with my Uniball Signo Broad White Gel Pen. That finishes the card for today. I’m going
to hold it up a little closer, so you can see here in a minute. I wanted to tank you
guys so much for watching and remind you that all the supplies are listed down below in
the video description or at my blog in the supply section. I will catch you guys on Friday
for a new video. Thanks again for watching. Don’t forget to give this video a big thumbs
