Hi, I’m Joanna Joseph for Expert Village,
and we’re talking about calligraphy. So, it’s good to just play with your pen and see how
it behaves. Try making little, sometimes you’ve got to sweet talk it there to get it flowing.
Try making little squares like that. Do your little zig zags. Do your little swirls. And then try the letter “i”. And what you
want to focus on is coming in clean and leaving clean. The pen does not want to push. It won?t,
it won’t push, and do what it’s, and do it right, unless it’s on wet ink. You can ride
back up on wet ink and make the letter “n”, but letters get broken into different little
segments because of the pen not wanting to push. So we pull there, and then we come back
and pull here. And then we kind of swing up lightly, and then pull back down. So you just
need to play with the pen and get familiar with it.
