Hi. I’m Denise. Thank you for watching my
video. Today I’m going to talk about connecting the cursive letter t with other cursive letters.
So, let’s get started. The letter t goes up and down and we lift our pen and make a
cross. First I will connect several t’s. Go up and down and up. Notice I’m not crossing
the t yet. We don’t cross the t until we have finished writing the whole word because
we want to be able to keep our pen on the paper as we’re writing. Then when we finish
a word, then we go back and we cross the t. Okay? Usually you don’t have that many t’s
together. Okay, now I will connect t to the other letters. Here’s t-a, cross, t-b. Notice
the t is not as tall as the b. t-c, t-d, t-e, t-f, t-g, t-h, t-i, t-j, t-k, t-l, t-m, t-n, t-o, t-p, t-q, t-r,
t-s. T is up here. t-u, t-v, t-w, t-x, t-y, t-z. And now I’ll write some words beginning
with the letter t. Try, t-r-y, tooth, t-o-o-t-h, twice, t-w-i-c-e, test, t-e-s-t. The letter t is not connected to the next letter.
The letter t ends over here. In order to connect it, you would need to continue this line,
but if you do that, then your t might look like an f. So we do not connect the capital
t to the next letter. Okay? So there’s no connection here. So, that’s the letter t.
