Galaxy Wedding Dress, Corinne VS Pin #21

Galaxy Wedding Dress, Corinne VS Pin #21

This is exciting! I’m on my way to pick up my friend Ali and she is gonna try on wedding dresses for the first time I made my own wedding dress So I didn’t really have that experience and I like to live vicariously through other people who do! All right let’s go Yay! Uh! It’s so pretty
(Ali: It is!) I could sleep in there I wonder if they’ll let me try on a dress?! Ali: Thank you so much, Jennifer, I really appreciate it.
(Jennifer: You’re welcome!) Corinne: So I’m gonna take it to my house Ali: Yeah, we can’t let Lambert see!
Corinne: Yeah! Alright, I have the dress Now I have to keep it safe Until the wedding That should be good Yes, Sweet! There it is again One little look-sie can’t hurt, right? No, stop. Stop what you’re thinking. Don’t do it. No! No! No, this is bad. (Laughing) Cheers! *gasping* *screaming* NO! F**k. What up, internet? Corinne here, And you’re watching “Corinne VS Pin.” OK, people. I have tried everything to get the stain out of this dress and nothing’s working. I’m probably gonna have to buy her a new dress. but there’s some time constraints That’s the reason we had to get a dress off the rack in the first place. and it’s the only one she liked out of those options so our new plan of attack is to cover it up. I’ve always wanted to try ice dying, and you’ve been suggesting it a lot, So, two birds, one worm Am I right? I think if I use the right combination of colors we might be able to achieve a galaxy wedding dress! Who wouldn’t want a galaxy wedding dress? Let’s get started, shall we? First off, it’s already pretty late at night And I may or may not have drank a little too much. Yep, just using my cookie cooling racks Which can never be used again after this and this plastic container. I also have no soda ash to pre-treat the dress before dying so I just dampened it a little bit and put half of it on the cooling racks. I then dumped a tray full of freezer ice onto the dress Which I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to crush first but ain’t nobody got time for that. and proceded to add various brands of powdered dye onto the ice situation. Next I became extremely impatient and began to try to melt the ice with my blow-drier. This took a very long time, But, I finally got to where I wanted it to be and I thought it looked pretty cool So I put the second half of the dress onto the cooling racks and repeated the whole ice-dye process. When I awoke in the morning, I found not the best situation at hand. The top part had kind of all just melded together But the bottom half looks pretty cool! Unfortunately, upon rinsing the dress, it didn’t really hold any of that color and you can still see that wine stain. Alright, at this point I’m pretty desperate so I’ve decided to give it another go. This time, I only used this dye, that is supposed to be specifically for poly-blend materials Plus I used the color intensifier and a bunch of hot water to treat the dress first. I also used bag ice this time, from the gas station, because you never know, maybe this’ll make a difference. But you know what? This also did not garner the results that I wanted. It actually looks worse. Alright I need to regroup. I got to bring out the big guns I found this stuff at the craft store and it seems like it may work pretty well. I don’t know. Color-spray-fabric sh*t usually sucks. I mean it’s pretty fume-y in here and I think I might die even though my windows are open It’ll probably be fine once it dries but it’s definitely smelly and weird and sticky at first Of course I went in and added some silvery accents to give it that galaxy-esque effect And lastly I used my trusty-dusty Sharpie paint pen to make little stars ‘Cause that, my friends, is what ties it all together. I think it looks pretty good. I’m picturing Ali loving it! Oh man! F**k! The moment of truth. Corinne: Hi!
Ali: Hey! Oh my gosh I’ve been dying! I cannot wait to see this dress! Corinne: Yeah, about that… Um, there were some complications And I had to alter the dress just a little bit.
(Ali: What?) I, I think you’re really gonna like it though. I, I do. Yeah.
(Ali: Yeah…) Pinterest, you know people love galaxy stuff, yeah!
(Ali: Right, yeah) Galaxy wedding dress! Isn’t it beautiful? *Corinne screams* *gasp* Well, That didn’t really go as well as I hoped it would. On the bright side, I got this galaxy wedding dress in case anyone wants one. Leave a comment below telling me how you would make use of a brand-new galaxy dress and I’ll pick my favorite one and send it on over to you. By the way, comments saying things like “I’d wipe my a** with it” probably aren’t gonna get picked, so… Just so you know. Well, that’s it for now. Make sure to subscribe, like up this video.
