Hi welcome to my channel in this video I will show you how to memorize more Chinese characters by adding as stroke to a certain word Let’s start from the simplest one In English yi/一 means one If we add a stroke on “yi/一” we will get five different Chinese characters see This is 二/er Means two in English if we add one stroke This is ding/丁 In English ding means the fourth Or people And also, this is a Chinese family name And also we can get Shi, it means ten in English and a seven qi/七 the last one we can get chang/厂 Means factory For example half of 4 is 2 / si de yi ban shi er / 4的一半是2 Two 二/er In Chinese, sometimes we use jia yi bing ding /甲乙丙丁 represents 1 2 3 & 4 jia yi 甲乙 bing ding/丙丁 1234 shi /十 means 10, I have ten books 我有十本书 7/qi –seven. there are seven days in a week.一周有七天. yi zhou you qi tian / 一周有七天. And chang gong chang/工厂- factory, such as clothing factory means fu zhuang chang/服装厂 or shoe factory means xie chang/鞋厂 yi/一; er/二 ; one two One two ;er/二 Ding/丁 Ding/丁 the fourth people family name Shi/十 Ten.
