Capital H. The capital H is comprised of three
straight stokes. Two strokes which are parallel to each other and look very much like the
lower case L. There they are. Then, a cross bar which is just slightly above the center
or the mid-line. One, two, three. If we think of the mid-line as being about here, you can
see that the cross bar is resting on the space where the mid-line would be. Remember, the
entry and exit strokes on the H. Remember, to keep those two lines parallel. Finally,
remember not to make the H too wide. We’re still fitting this letter into a space that’s
not as wide as it is tall, so the H does not fit into a square. The H fits into a rectangle.
